Poor Cinderella...

Poor Cinderella...

Celebrate the vernal equinox and experience the power of dance with The Music Hall’s annual Spring ballet – this year, the well known timeless classic folk tale Cinderella by the Moscow Festival Ballet on Sunday March 28 at 3pm at the landmark Victorian theater in downtown Portsmouth. With sumptuous sets, exquisite costumes and spectacular dancers, this captivating young company of leading dancers from across Russia brings together the highest classical elements of the great Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies. As the Las Vegas Review Journal said, they “deserved ‘bravos’ within minutes of the opening steps.”

According to Therese LaGamma, Programming Manager, “Cinderella is one of the most popular ballets – and when we were planning our year and specifically, our annual spring ballet, we thought this would be the perfect choice. It’s like a rite of spring here at The Hall – and a perfect opportunity to slip out of the house on a Sunday afternoon, linger over brunch and then head to the 3pm matinee at the theatre. Don’t miss this performance!”
